Wow, this is awesome. Today the head of the US copyright office proposed a law that would make me a felon. Over a year ago, I built the website http://gendale.net/sound.html. I built it because Spotify didn’t have any rap mixtapes on it, and I like to listen to rap mixtapes. I don’t think you can really connect with rap today without the internet mixtape scene. Now the same luddites who proposed and supported SOPA are proposing a law that could PUT ME IN JAIL?
These people represent the interests and money from lobbyists in Hollywood and the Recording Industry. Rather than adapt to new technology, they are resting on their laurels and using their economic advantage to punish new technology and make it as primitive as the old technology, the technology that they have complete control over. I’m no copyright anarchist, and I think authors’ rights are important. This is not about artists’ rights. If it was, the Beatles would still own the rights to their songs.
Take me to jail. I’m going to keep streaming music.

As you might imagine, these Django Unchained action figures aren’t going over very well
It’s all part of “the cruel, inhuman business that is action figure trafficking.”
Wooooh
Alec Guinness Hated ‘Star Wars’
He hated it almost as much as he hated Tennyson Ford and Paul Lucas’ other film, Kentucky Smith and the Stealers of the Ghost Box.

This police sketch provided December 30, 2012 by the New York City Police Department shows a likeness of the woman believed to have pushed a man, 46-year-old Sunando Sen, from India to his death in front of a subway on December 27. A 31-year-old New York woman, Erika Menendez , was scheduled to appear before a judge Sunday after being charged with murder as a hate crime for shoving Sen to his death in front of an oncoming subway train. Menendez of the Bronx borough, was motivated by hatred of Muslims and Hindus, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office. “I pushed a Muslim off the train tracks because I hate Hindus and Muslims. Ever since 2001 when they put down the twin towers, I’ve been beating them up,” she told police. Menendez, who is awaiting arraignment in Queens Criminal Court, faces from 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
+ “There is no reason. I just pushed him in front of the train because I thought it would be cool. I just pushed him because he was Muslim.”
+ Menendez laughed uncontrollably and smiled during the hearing, telling prosecutors that she pushed Sen onto the subway track for no reason.
+ “Tell your client this is not funny. You’re going to have to have your client stop laughing. This is not appropriate.”
This is awful
